About Us

Mickleover WI meets on the second Thursday of each month at St John’s Church Hall at 7.30pm. We usually start with the business of the day followed by a speaker or an activity, which takes us up to 9.00pm. Then tea and cake, sometimes a raffle, quiz or competition. The meeting normally finishes around 9.45pm.  Members take it in turn to provide cake, serve teas and help with the washing up.

There are several sub groups ie craft, gardening, walking, book club, food folk and more recently a luncheon club, which members can join, enjoy the activities, meet new people, visit each others houses and go on organised trips. .

Prospective members can attend two meetings as a visitor to see if what we do appeals.  Come along and see if its your "cup of tea", we would love to see you.
